Paintball Equipment

Safety Gear – Protective clothing, padding and coveralls are often worn while playing paintball to protect your skin and personal clothing from damage while playing. Paintballs are small pellets filled with bright colors. Getting hit with a paintball at close range can leave a bruise if you’re not properly geared up.
Paintball Helmets – It’s recommended to wear a full helmet when playing paintball. A helmet will protect your two most sensitive areas – your eyes and your temples. A direct hit to either region can have serious effects, but wearing a helmet will let you move about the field knowing your face and head are safe.
Markers – A paintball gun, or marker, is essential for paintballing. There are a wide range of markers you can rent at various paintballing locations or you can buy one to have as your own. Most players rent a gun initially but then realize that they would far prefer to buy the gun that suits their own style and abilities.
Paintball Gun Accessories – Your marker will need various accessories to fire correctly. You’ll attach a canister or compressed gas to the marker to give it power. A hopper will also attach to hold paintballs.
Paintballs – The most basic element of the game, paintballs come in different levels of quality. Some paintballs are considered best for practice and others are for tournaments and the like. Paintballs can be found in many different colors as well.
Harnesses and Storage – Keeping extra paintballs and gas canisters on hand is part of the game. Finding a harness or storage band to hold those items is a balance in comfort, weight and the amount the harness will hold.
